FAQ

Q. What does brush and roll method mean? What are the benefits?

A. Our brush and roll method involves applying paint to your cabinets in a similar manner to how walls are painted. As professionals, we ensure a seamless finish without visible lines or orange peel texture. This approach offers several benefits: you can continue using your kitchen throughout the entire process. Our working hours are from approximately 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing you to start cooking dinner by 4:30 PM. There's no need to empty your cabinetry or seek alternative living arrangements for a few days. Additionally, it's particularly advantageous for apartments as there's no concern about ventilation.

Q. I want my cabinet boxes sprayed, will you do this?

A. Yes, we do provide this service. The cabinet boxes are primed and sprayed with 2K poly. However, please note that for this process, we will need to plastic off the kitchen, and you will be unable to access it for 2-5 days, depending on the size of the project. The doors are still removed and brought to our shop to be sprayed with lacquer

Q. What is the difference between Refinishing and Refacing my doors?

A. Refinishing means to follow our process of repainting your doors/drawers in our shop. Refacing means to make you completely new doors. Refinishing is best suited when you like the door profile but want to change the colour. Refacing is best suited when you want to change the door profile or material.

Q. Do you paint both sides of the doors and drawers

A. Yes, all sides and edges are painted. Our process is to sand both sides first, then spray primer/sealer, sand again, and then tinted lacquer colour of your choice is sprayed.

Q. What sheen are my doors sprayed in?

A. All our products are satin finish or 20% lacquer sheen

Q. Will you come to my home?

A. Absolutely, before proceeding, we kindly request that you provide us with a few comprehensive photos of your current kitchen and/or vanity cabinets, along with the total count of doors and drawers. These images will allow us to assess the extent of on-site painting required, including areas such as islands, trim, and side gables. This ensures an accurate understanding of your project's scope and enables us to provide tailored recommendations and estimates.

Q. Do you fill the old door/drawer holes and supply and install new handles?

A. Yes, we do charge a small fee for filling old holes and installing new handles.

Q. Do you need any measurements of the doors?

A. Yes, if you want to have new doors made, we need approximate sizes of each door.

Q. Can you do repairs or alter a cabinet?
